I’m such a car nut, and the Daytona 500 is my favorite Nascar event. I’m really eager to see how Danica Patrick performs. Go Danica! I was always a fan of Awesome Bill Elliott, although he’s retired now. And of course, Richard Petty, the King. I think Dale Jr. showed a lot of class when he left DEI and defended his stepmother to the press. So I guess you’d call me a Dale Jr. fan, too.

If you don’t follow Nascar, you miss a lot of the cameos and jokes in the animated CARS movie. So cute!

In Jean Nidetch’s original WW CookBook, the one Cheryl is holding in the picture, there is a recipe for veal chili. I’ve lost my book, and want to make this recipe for tomorrow’s Super Bowl game. Can you help me out? I think I remember it, but don’t want to leave anything out.

Connie, I’ll admit Santa Baby is cute. Just don’t listen to the lyrics. But then I guess the same could be said of Happy X-mas (War is Over) *LOL* Perhaps it’s the tune that is catchy?

Hi Cheryl – nice post! How about a new holiday song? I wrote one called George Bailey, all about Jimmy Stewart’s character in It’s A Wonderful Life. Straight No Chaser is an acapella group my son introduced me to last year. They are great! Their version of 12 Days of Christmas makes me like that song (and I’m not a big fan of 12 Days of Christmas!)
